  • Deadliest Snake in Thailand!

Most deadly snake in Thailand. This is the Malayan pit viper. I've seen studies that have called it Thailand's deadliest snake. They have a wicked cytotoxic venom that destroys every living cell it contacts - including bone. They have very long fangs, over one inch. The fangs are well developed with holes running the length, with which they can inject a lot of venom in one bite - even with one fang. These snakes are called "lazy" by some. They don't move off the path or out of the way when they hear something coming. They much prefer not to move at all. Hence they are stepped on frequrently. They tend to inhabit the rubber tree plantations and the rubber tree tappers tend to work in the very early morning hours during dark. They are bitten a lot. Many don't go to the hospital, preferring...

They tend to inhabit the rubber tree plantations and the rubber tree tappers tend to work in the very early morning hours during dark. They are bitten a lot. Many don't go to the hospital, preferring instead to use their own folklore remedies. When it doesn't work, they eventually go to the hospital, but it's too late to save them. This snake is the reason everyone should carry a flashlight walking anywhere at night in Thailand. These are found on the road, in yards, on paths, on sidewalks, in garages. We found one in our carport as we moved into our new townhouse. They are common and exceptionally dangerous. Don't forget - SUBSCRIBE to this channel to see all our new Thailand wildlife videos.
